Project Portfolio
Emkay have been involved in a wide range of projects with many different clients.
These have ranged from single nightclubs and public houses to large industrial sites. |
|
A small selection of these projects include.
Astra Zeneca European HQ Manchester which has around 3000 emergency luminaries using the Beghelli CTOC Digital Wireless Central testing system over a 40 Acre site.
This particular client realised the benefits of a centralised testing system by eliminating the need for constant regime manual testing by staff members. All results are now available at the touch of a button and maintenance can be carried out to the exact areas required.
Pilkington Glass Liverpool had a preference for a Central Battery / Static Inverter system but still required the benefits of a central test system. In this instance the choice was the Beghelli CTS Wired Testing System.
Jaguar F1 Team - Now Red Bull Racing had a requirement to upgrade their wind tunnel at their HQ in Bedfordshire and chose to use a combination of various Beghelli Lighting & Emergency Lighting products including the high output energy efficient BS100 range of vapour proof luminaries. |

The National Galleries in Edinburgh includes a Beghelli Static Inverter and mixture of Mains & Autotest Emergency Lighting.
The National Climbing Centre / Ratho Quarry required a fully addressable networked fire alarm system with voice annunciation but at a competitive cost. This was achieved by installing a system using Voice Alarm sounders with a pre-recorded message which was chosen by the client. This met the requirements of the Fire Officer whilst maintaining a sensible budget.
The Bond - Edinburgh (Persimmon Homes) was a luxury residential and retail development where we have a Fully Networked Addressable Fire Alarm System installed covering both sectors of the project including the various interfaces tailored to suit each tenants individual requirements.
Volvo Trucks - Glasgow has a system of Beghelli Autotest luminaries, chosen by the client for their aesthetic appearance and high performance in high level applications.
The Skerryvore Project - Oran Mor was an ambitious project by a Glasgow Publican to convert a 17th Century Church into a Multi-Function Arts & Entertainment Centre, including Bars, Restaurants, Night Club, Function Rooms and Theatre Area. As part of this project Emkay designed & provided the Fire Alarms & Emergency Lighting.
Glasgow Caledonian University had a requirement for a centralised emergency testing which was flexible in adapting to constant refurbishment works. The solution was the Beghelli CTOC system which due to its mains signalling system required no buswires and provided the adaptability and expansion capability required. |
